My beautiful and amazing friends Gabby and Nathan tied the knot on Monday in an incredible ceremony at St Matthews in the City, followed by a lovely reception at Carringtons. As the lucky winners of the Life FM Wedding Season competition, Gabs and Nate were blessed with the kind of wedding that dreams are made of. Earlier this month MAC Cosmetics hosted a Spring/Summer 2011 trend preview, looking at the key trends from the Northern Hemisphere's spring/summer runway shows. I adore the clean, controlled, pretty pastels trend seen on the runways of Etro and Rosa Cha to name a few. These delicate and feminine colours look fabulous. My favourite pastel to make a comeback has to be the lovely lilac/lavender shade. Check out these shots and tell me if you don't fall for it too...

all that sparkles

Sequins and glitter and all things that sparkle are so fun and glamorous to wear. 

I wore a super cute sequin jacket out last week, teaming  it with newly purchased green/mustard/i don't know what to call this colour shorts from Ruby (which I love dearly). I must say I felt very Serena Van der Woodsen indeed.

In 2 weeks time I will be leaving my beloved city of Auckland to embark on new adventures down in windy Wellington.

Making the big move to a new city is an exciting and scary prospect, but the hardest part is going to be moving away from my friends.

So this post goes out to my beautiful and amazing friends; you know who you are. I love every moment I spend with you, whether we're doing something crazy and hilarious or just simply hanging out. I will miss you very, very much, but remember what they say, absence makes the heart grow fonder! I'll be back before you know it.
